Green-Collar Jobs are Red Hot

greencollar-300The Green buzz has been gaining momentum as our ever-increasing fondness for renewable energy resources. You have heard of “blue-collar” jobs, but what about “green-collar” jobs? A recent TIME Magazine article about green collared jobs points out Obama’s plan to filter 150 billion dollars over ten years to create upwards of 5 million new clean energy jobs.

That sounds promising. Green collar jobs vary, and may include jobs in the public transit sector, jobs in green building, jobs in energy efficiency — even traditional, blue-collar manufacturing jobs, now adopting new technology for a cleaner manufacturing process.
